This year we are going to have multiple options available for our Dekes & Dangles IX pond hockey leagues . . . Yes we did say leagues. Our overall goal this year is to be focused on strengthening our beer league hockey community. This is why we have added a night of pond hockey action to the schedule.

option 1 | wednesday league

Wednesday night will be the standard league format. Bring your team of 6 - 8 skaters and play against other teams in the league.

• Alumni captains/teams have first opportunity to claim their spot back into the league.
• Teams must follow the AEA Salary Cap System.

• Committed teams only, we will not look for subs for you. Please make sure you have a team there every week. There will be a list of players available to be contact if needed.
• Roster Size: 6-8 skaters, no goalies
• Games will start at 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm
• League Fees: $50/night per team, pay as we go. $50 deposit due prior to the first game.

option 2 | thursday "king of the hill" league

Thursday night will be a "Drop-in, King of the Hill or Scramble" style league. Think of it as a weekly mini Hockey Hold'em tournament.

• Sign-up as an individual and be placed into one (1) of three (3) tiers; Tier 1 ($.50 or greater), Tier 2 ($.30 - $.49) and Tier 3 (less than $.29) . . . all based on the AEA Salary Cap System.
• Each week a new random starting order will be released.
• Games start at 6:30pm, and you can play all night. There is no limit to the number of games you can play in an evening. Show up late, need to leave early, no problem; jump into the rotation and/or the next available player moves up in the rotation.
• Last game of the night must start by 10:15pm.
• Games are played to five (5), winners stay on the ice, the losers take a break and wait for their next chance in the rotation. You will have the opportunity to play more than once in an evening. No game length/time limit. You play until a team scores five (5) goals.
• Weekly playing rotation and "when you should be ready to play by" time will be released every Monday. This schedule will be on our Dekes & Dangles facebook page.
