In 2021 the AEA Salary Cap is no longer a guideline; it is officially a rule. If you wish to place a team in this year's Dekes & Dangles tournament or league, you must meet the criteria for the bracket/league.
How do you calculate your teams AEA Salary Cap value? Rank/List your players according to their AEA Salary Cap value listed in the grid below, highest value to the lowest. Your team's AEA Salary Cap value will be based on your top six (6) highest valued players. Calculate your team's value, evaluate your players (be honest and ethical), then select your tournament weekend that fits with your team's AEA Salary Cap value. Alumni teams will have first opportunity to return to the tournament. If space available, waiting list teams will be welcomed to the show.

A/B+ Bracket: $5.00 million & above
B Bracket: $3.75 million - $4.00 million
C Bracket: $2.25 million - $2.50 million
30+ Bracket: $4.15 million - $4.40 million
40+ Bracket: $3.45 million - $3.70 million
COED Bracket: $3.00 million - $3.25 million
Women's Bracket: $2.45 - $2.70 million
D&D Pond Hockey Championship Series: $3.75 million - $4.00 million

Once you have registered you will be issued an AEA player value based on the spreadsheet below. We do update the values on an annual basis to do our best to bring fair and competitive tournaments and brackets to our shows. Note: All transgender participants will be valued as a "Male Participant"

The AEA has been bringing adult "beer league" hockey tournaments to west Michigan for over 20 years. Established in 2005, we have delivered some of the most competitive and unique tournament formats to the state. Our goal is to insure that all teams have the same opportunities to compete and win. Winning a "beer league" hockey tournament isn't something you do, it's something to be remembered.
Dekes & Dangle Pond Hockey Invitational is currently the only pond hockey tournament being played in west Michigan. Dekes & Dangles is "Pond Hockey for only the Strong. The facility includes heated cabins, a chilling system and a lights for night time play. [MORE INFO]
The Silver Puck Challenge is our flagship adult hockey tournament series. Bring your own team and be ready to compete in one of the most competitive hockey tournaments in the state. The SPC is "West Michigan's Premier Adult Hockey Tournament." [MORE INFO]
